The Competition
The Scarecrow Competition has been a regular yearly event held in the Yarramalong Valley for some 13 years and attracts visitors from all over to view these quirky, humorous, topical or sometimes scary roadside exhibits. Created by families living in the Yarramalong Valley and exhibited along the roadside for all to see, they may be voted upon by the public “on line” via this website. This years competition runs from Saturday 30 April until Sunday 15 May with winners being announced on this website on the final day.

Following completion of your ‘crow, position it and your number board so that it may be seen by the public driving through the Yarramalong Valley, preferably by Saturday 30 April.Take a good photo of your entry ,making it as large as possible in your camera’s frame leaving out the number board if it restricts the size of your ‘crow. Don’t worry if the board is not in the photo, your entry/voting number will be recorded separately on line alongside your photo. Post the photo full size, as prompted below, making sure you also enter your official entry number as this is the only way the public can vote for your “crow.
