Valley Art Show

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, that received 152 entries from artists Australia wide, entries are now open for the :-

Valley Art Show’s 2020 9×5 ART PRIZE.

The Valley Art Show, that has run annually for many years as part of the Yarramalong Valley Spring Festival, will again host the 9×5 ART PRIZE. This 9×5 inch or “cigar box” art form will, apart from offering the paintings for sale, be a competition with prizes of $1000 for 1st, $600 for 2nd and $400 for 3rd place, all made possible by the generous sponsorship of :



Capital One – Lifestyle Properties  

As a cost incentive to artists, specially produced 9″x 5″ art boards, that are rear framed to prevent warping and be easily hung for display, will be supplied as part of the $25 entry fee with no other framing allowed at the time of the exhibition.  Note that a second entry will cost just $15 and only boards supplied by the organisers are accepted in the competition.

 The 9×5 Art Prize exhibition and award presentation will be held at the Wyong Creek Hall from Friday 28th until Sunday 30th August and then all painting still available will then go on display and sale at Alison Homestead, a Central Coast Historic Museum at 1 Cape Rd. Wyong, from the 1st till the 30th September.

Artists wishing to enter this unique competition should allow sufficient time to collect or receive by post their art boards from the organisers, Wyong Creek Hall, and be able to return their finished art to us for display and judging before Wednesday 26th August.
